Treatment Highlights
- Quick, No-Downtime Skin Rejuvenation – A gentle, non-ablative laser facial designed to refresh the skin, improve radiance and promote a more even-looking complexion.
- Advanced Laser Technology – Performed using our Revlite SI and Hollywood Spectra Q-switched nanosecond laser platforms, without the need for a carbon peel.
- Targets Multiple Skin Concerns – Helps address the appearance of pigmentation, sun spots, melasma, enlarged pores, selected inflamed acne lesions and fine facial hair, while supporting collagen remodelling.
At Medaesthetics, we offer the Signature Laser Facial, a non-ablative skin rejuvenation treatment using advanced Q-switched nanosecond laser technology. Previously known as the Revlite Laser Facial at our clinics, it is similar to the Hollywood Laser Facial but is performed without the application of a carbon peel.
Using our Revlite SI and Hollywood Spectra laser platforms, this treatment delivers targeted laser energy to improve skin tone and radiance, address selected pigmentation concerns and support collagen remodelling. It may also help improve the appearance of enlarged pores, selected acne lesions and fine vellus facial hair.
This treatment can be combined with many other skin rejuvenation procedures as an adjunct to enhance the overall treatment plan and address multiple skin concerns.

MOA
Q-switched nanosecond laser pulses deliver targeted energy to selected skin pigments, helping break down excess pigmentation while stimulating skin responses associated with collagen remodelling. The non-ablative approach leaves the skin surface intact, supporting improvements in skin tone, clarity and radiance with minimal downtime.
The Signature Laser Facial is designed for patients seeking refreshed, brighter-looking skin with minimal discomfort and little to no downtime. Treatment settings are tailored to individual skin type and concerns, with suitability assessed before treatment. A course of sessions may be recommended for progressive results.

Number of Treatments
We recommend an initial course of three treatments, 2-4 weeks apart, followed by quarterly or six monthly maintenance sessions to help maintain results.
Procedure Time
The procedure is typically short, taking around 15 minutes.
Discomfort Level
Sensation varies between patients, with most describing it as mild, warm and slightly prickly. No anaesthesia or numbing cream is required.
Recovery Time
Downtime is usually limited, though some patients experience mild, short-lived redness for a few hours afterwards.
Results
Results may be noticeable after a single treatment, with further improvements developing over a course of sessions. Individual results vary.
Duration of Results
Results may last approximately 6–12 months, depending on individual skin concerns, treatment response and ongoing photoageing. Quarterly maintenance sessions may be recommended to help maintain skin quality and address the ongoing effects of sun exposure and natural ageing. Individual results vary.

Frequently asked questions
Can Laser Facial be combined with other skin treatments?
Yes. Depending on your skin concerns and treatment goals, the 1064 nm Q-switched laser facial may be incorporated into a broader skin treatment plan alongside options such as chemical peels, skin needling or selected skin rejuvenation treatments.
The suitability and timing of combination treatments depend on your skin type, current skin condition and the treatments being considered. Some procedures may need to be performed in separate sessions to minimise irritation and reduce the risk of complications. Your clinician will recommend an appropriate treatment plan following an individual assessment.
Is there any downtime?
Downtime is usually limited. Some patients experience mild redness for a few hours, and you are advised to avoid direct sunlight for 24 hours.
Does it hurt?
Sensation varies between patients, however, this treatment is often described as generally quite comfortable, warm and prickly. No numbing required.
Is it suitable for my skin?
Suitability is assessed individually during your consultation. The 1064 nm Q-switched laser facial may be suitable for people seeking to improve the appearance of uneven skin tone, selected pigmentation and overall skin clarity.
